Vetronix Emissions Diagnosis Products
![]() |
Vetronix's line of portable exhaust gas analyzers are precision instruments specifically designed to address service needs associated with basic and enhanced I/M programs throughout the US, as well as assists in driveability diagnostics.
Guided by menu driven software, the MTS Series Gas Analyzers are designed to be easy to operate and maintain through on-screen procedures and help functions.
Two Solutions
The MTS Series Gas Analyzers are offered in two configurations: the MTS-1000 non-display model and the MTS-1100 model with display screen.
Both models utilize the same highly reliable and accurate gas measurement technology. This technology is based on non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) technology that employs no moving parts.
4- and 5-gas Configurations
Both MTS models can be purchased as a 4-gas analyzer to measure HC, CO, CO2, and O2 with BAR-90 accuracy, or as a 5-gas unit with the addition of NOx.
Light Heavy Weights
At 13 pounds (MTS-1100) or less (MTS-1000), their portability makes them ideal diagnostic and repair grade gas analyzers for use on the road or in the service bay.
Vetronix's MTS Series Gas Analyzers can be integrated with Vetronix's hand-held MTS 3100 Mastertech multi-function tester.
MTS 1000 and MTS 1100 Features
- Meet BAR-90 performance criteria
- 4-gas analyzer easily upgraded to 5-gas analyzer
- Calculate and display Air/Fuel Ratios
- Enhanced display modes: text data parameters, bar graph, and line chart
- Transportable: ideal for use in the service bay or on a road test
- Oscilloscope and oxygen sensor waveform functions are available when operated with the optional oscilloscope diagnostic lead set
- Driveability Testing: displays and records combined vehicle serial data and emissions data when used with a Vetronix hand-held tester
- Operates with the optional TechView® Pro PC software for full color, large screen display and PC data storage
Diagnostic Functions
The following diagnostic functions are available when using a MTS-1000 Gas Analyzer in combination with a Mastertech, or using a MTS-1100 Gas Analyzer with a Mastertech, Tech 1 or Tech 1A:
- Road Test - Can be powered from the vehicle's cigarette lighter and taken on a road test
- ScanTest - Vehicle serial data diagnostic functions with bi-directional control capability
- Emissions Test - 4 or 5 gas analysis and oxygen sensor waveform analysis
- Digital Meter - Measures and displays voltage, frequency, and duty cycle, with min/max capture
- Oscilloscope - Dual and single trace waveform analysis
- Snapshot - Records up to 10 minutes of road test data, including combined vehicle emissions and on-board computer data
NOTE: Oscilloscope and digital meter functions require the use of an optional oscilloscope test lead.
The MTS Series Gas Analyzer is designed to operate from a 12 volt DC power source, such as the vehicle battery, for complete road testing capabilities. An optional AC/DC power supply can be purchased to supply power from a 110 volt AC outlet in the service bay.
