MTS 1000 Gas Analyzer Description
Available configured as a 4- or 5-gas analyzer
The MTS 1000 Gas Analyzer is part of an integrated diagnostic system based around Vetronix's Mastertech® Multi-Function Tester.
Configured as a 4 gas analyzer, Vetronix's MTS 1000 measures HC,CO, CO2, and O2 to BAR-90 and OIML Class 1 standards.
Increase your diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities by purchasing the Vetronix MTS 1000 configured as a 5 gas analyzer for NOx readings.
The MTS 1000, working with a Mastertech® , can display gas data in text, bar chart, or line chart formats. In addition, the Mastertech software integrates vehicle computer data with gas data from the MTS 1000. The MTS 1000 provides a high quality gas analyzer, with truly advanced diagnostic features, at an affordable price.
The ability to measure the four common exhaust gases is a valuable asset in troubleshooting. Problems that consumed valuable diagnostic time, such as driveability, fuel and ignition system problems which have led to emission system malfunctions, are more easily solved with the MTS 1000 4-Gas Analyzer.
Technicians who have dealt with driveability problems and emissions test failures related to over-advanced ignition timing, lean fuel mixtures, or inoperative EGR valves can have a tough time diagnosing NOx-related tailpipe emissions. Using the portable MTS 1000 5-Gas Analyzer, loaded testing can be accomplished on a dynamometer system or on a road test.
- Both 4- and 5-Gas models integrate engine control unit diagnostic data parameters from the vehicle's on-board computer with exhaust data from the MTS 1000 Gas Analyzer, when used in conjunction with a Vetronix Mastertech. This enables users to see what vehicle on-board computers are doing during times of high tailpipe emissions.
- By far the smallest, lightest gas analyzers on the market today, with a sleek, high-tech appearance, at about one-half the weight of today's most common units. Ideal for road testing as well as in-shop portability.
- Shop owners can minimize costs and maximize productivity by utilizing service bay or road test procedures. While a dynamometer is not required, Vetronix's Gas Analyzers will work with dynamometer systems.
- Both models of the MTS 1000 Gas Analyzer come standard with a 25′ sample hose, gas regulator, battery adapter cable, and E-Manual CD. Optional items include an RPM Probe, oil temperature probe, diffusion probe tip, 12V power supply, and a lightweight, soft-sided storage case.
