The MTS 1000, combined with a Mastertech tester, offers these powerful features:
- Meets BAR 90 performance criteria and has been submitted for Certification
- Available in 4- or 5-gas configurations
- 4-Gas Analyzer can be upgraded to 5-Gas Analyzer
- Driveability Testing Capability includes display and Snapshot of combined emissions data and vehicle serial data
- Enhanced display modes: 12 or 16 vehicle data parameters, digital, bar graph, and line chart
- Calculates and displays Air/Fuel Ratios
- Transportable: ideal for use in the service bay or on a road test
- Expanded emissions testing capability, includes oxygen sensor waveform analysis, and other diagnostic tests
- Operates with TechView® Pro PC software for full color, large screen display and PC data storage
Operating Modes
The following diagnostic functions and operations are available when using an MTS 1000 Gas Analyzer in combination with a Mastertech:
- Road Test includes Snapshot Save feature to capture and review exhaust gas data
- ScanTest accesses the application cartridge engine diagnostic data list, with bi-directional control capability
- Emissions Test Menu offers gas data, combined gas and vehicle diagnostic data display, calibration, maintenance, and oxygen sensor waveform display
- Digital Meter measures voltage, frequency, and duty cycle, with min/max capture, on the Mastertech
- Oscilloscope displays single and dual trace waveforms on the Mastertech, including ignition system signals when also using the Enhanced Diagnostic Lead Set (EDLS)
- Printing prints hardcopy of test results on VP-411 or 414 printers
